Frankfurt Card: Prices at a Glance
The Frankfurt Card differs in two ways: the duration (1 or 2 days) and the number of travellers (individual or group card for up to 5 people). This gives you four options, all with the same benefits included - free travel throughout the Frankfurt city area including the airport, plus up to 50% discount at over 50 discount partners.
The entry point is the 1-day individual card from 13 €. The 2-day card and group card cost more accordingly; the exact, up-to-date price for your selection is shown in the booking widget once you choose your duration and number of people.
As of 24 June 2026, price from the official booking partner. Children under 6 travel free on the RMV network and do not need their own card. The price shown in the booking widget is always definitive.
What is included in the price
Regardless of which option you choose, the card includes:
- Free travel by S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram and bus throughout the Frankfurt city area, including all journeys to and from Frankfurt Airport (FRA). More details on the public transport page.
- Up to 50% discount at over 50 discount partners, from the Städel to the Palmengarten. Which partners offer the best value is shown on the attractions page.
- With the group card, one shared card covers up to 5 people travelling together.
Not included are journeys outside the city area and long-distance trains (IC, EC, ICE).
Which option is worth it?
For a day trip, the 1-day card from 13 € is the right choice. The free travel across the entire city area including the airport alone already covers a significant part of that price - the discount partners come on top. If you are spending a weekend in Frankfurt, the 2-day card usually works out cheaper than buying two individual days.
Travelling as a group? The group card for up to 5 people is the clear money-saver, as only one card is needed for the whole group. The booking widget calculates the exact price for each option live as soon as you choose your duration and number of people.
