Validity & Use

No. Printing is not necessary. Simply show the digital ticket on your smartphone - on public transport as well as at partner attractions. Just make sure your device has sufficient battery and the code is clearly readable.

The card is tied to calendar days. The 1-day card is valid for one calendar day until end of service (approximately 5:00 AM the following day); the 2-day card covers two consecutive calendar days. Simply choose your start date when purchasing.

Do children need their own Frankfurt Card?+

Children under 6 travel free on the RMV network anyway and do not need their own card. For older children it is worth comparing against the children's or family prices at individual attractions, as the card discounts apply to the regular adult admission price. More details on the Prices page.
